I self published The Illustrated Woman back in 1992. It had three printings and will not be printed again. The only remaining copies can only be ordered on this site. At the time, it was a ground breaking book that showed women getting larger and more complicated tattoo designs. It was the first book to show portraits of women with tattoos instead of just photographs of tattoos that happen to be on women. It was one of the first hardcover coffee table books on tattooing. And, it was the first book to document the beginning of the modern tattoo renaissance of new artists, styles and techniques. Admittedly, I have not updated this site in a long time. I am still busy with continuing my library of tattooed women, going to tattoo conventions, and shooting for International Tattoo Art Magazine. I have added an on-line store with items that have been hand picked for your viewing.
